If you’ve set a PIN on your Plex account, it’s possible to reset or remove that PIN.

Regular Plex Account
If you know the current PIN
If the current PIN is known, then simply edit the current PIN on the Settings > Users & Sharing page in Plex Web App.
- Browse to the Settings > Plex Home page
- Highlight the row for the user
- Choose the Edit PIN link
- Enter the current PIN to unlock it
- Once unlocked, either set a new PIN or use the Remove link

If you’ve forgotten the current PIN
The account owner must reset or remove their own PIN if they’ve forgotten it.
- Sign in to the corresponding Plex account on the plex.tv website
- Visit the PIN Reset page
- Choose the new PIN, confirm it, then enter the account’s current password (for accounts that have passwords)
- Use the Update button to save the changes
Managed User
For Managed Users, the Plex Home admin can remove or change the PIN for that user.
- Browse to the Settings > Plex Home page in the web app
- Highlight the row for the user
- Choose the Edit PIN link
- Either set a new PIN or use the Remove link
