植被干旱响应指数 (VegDRI)
简介
植被干旱响应指数(VegDRI)是一个每周一次的地理空间模型,用于描述干旱对美国本土植被造成的压力。VegDRI干旱监测工具是由美国地质调查局EROS中心、内布拉斯加大学国家干旱缓解中心(NDMC)和高原区域气候中心(HPRCC)的科学家们合作开发的。
VegDRI方法将美国宇航局Terra平台上的中分辨率成像分光仪(MODIS)传感器提供的遥感数据与气候和生物物理数据整合在一起,形成了空间分辨率为1千米的无缝产品。与一般植被状况有关的卫星组件是年季节绿度百分比(PASG)和季节起始异常(SOSA)数据。年季节绿度百分比每周根据 eMODIS 归一化差异植被指数(NDVI)复合数据计算一次。
基于气候的干旱数据包括帕尔默干旱严重程度指数 (PDSI) 和来自 HPRCC 的每周标准化降水指数 (SPI) 数据。气候数据可确定正在经历干旱的地区,以帮助区分干旱造成的植被压力。环境的生物物理特征来自土地利用/土地覆盖、土壤可用水量、生态环境、灌溉状况和海拔数据。土地利用变化、土壤条件、虫害、疾病、冰雹、洪水或火灾等环境压力因素也会影响植被状况。
